Dr. Hayes is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner® which is a 120 hour course focusing on sports related injuries, their treatment and rehabilitation. He has also received his certificate of attainment for Chiropractic Acupuncture from the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. In addition, he is a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner®, a Certified RockTape Functional Movement Taping Levels I & II and a Certified USAT Level 1 Triathlon Coach and has personally completed triathlons from sprint distance to Ironman® distance.
Dr. Hayes' focus is on "Back to Basics". With over 22 years experience, Dr. Hayes has noticed more and more Chiropractors getting away from being Chiropractors and focusing on the "latest and greatest" machine, fad or other program completely unrelated to Chiropractic care.
Dr. Hayes dedicates time with patients on each visit focusing on the tried and true: acupuncture/dry needling, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, the latest neuromuscular and active myofascial release techniques, kinesio taping and good ol' fashion adjusting (but only when needed). His focus is to identify the problem(s), release and correct/prevent. Dr. Hayes is also constantly exploring and implementing new forms of treatment to ensure you are getting the latest and most effective treatments to resolve your condition.
Dr. Hayes' patients include ironman and half-ironman competitors, swimmers, endurance swimmers, cyclists, 5k/10k/half-marathon/marathon/ultramarathon runners, triathletes, duathletes, baseball players, soccer players, tennis players and football players. He has treated junior high school athletes to elite level athletes.
